gas then biting. im still learning so if im on a hill on a traffic light or junction i do biting point and then gas quick
Ive noticed your car adjusts its RPM when you lift to the biting point, but for older cars such as my RX-8 that dont have this RPM adjustment function or petrol cars that have low torque, gas first would be more reliable
What happens when you try it in your car?
Does bite point first method works in every car like smaller engine or petrol or non ecu/old cars?
It might be a bit harder in some cars but it's worked in every car I've ever driven.
My 2005 Toyota Matrix sometimes doesn’t vibrate at biting point when on an exit ramp incline. I let up off the clutch at a higher point but afraid if I go any higher it will cut off leaving me in a difficult situation especially with cars behind me driven by impatient drivers cursing and blowing their horns. On less steeper inclines or flat surfaces the clutch does cause a vibration at the biting point. However, you had help many save wear and tear on our.clutches by showing us techniques such as pull of up a hill using biting points and when the shift

Tbh, biting point first has always worked for me. It just gives you the confidence that the car is actually ready to move forward. No fears of roll backs etc. also that’s how my driving instructor thought me. And it’s worked like a charm, have very rarely ever stalled even.
Always worked for me and my learners too. Some people are against it for some reason but I always found it to be the easiest way.

Hi, biting point is just the clutch but to make it smooth, you add gas in the background before moving off. Hope that helps.

😅 You did what I did. I didn't buy a car until 6 months after I got my licence. iI was also terrified. The key is biting point first. Practice it somewhere quiet if you're not too confident and you'll soon get the hang of it. Let us know how it goes! 😁
In my instructors diesel golf I’ve only ever moved off with just the clutch, I think it automatically adds gas when you raise the clutch

When i done my actual driving test, the instructor told me that she had to tell me the speed changes if they werent on both sides the road (speed signs) or if they were covered

Think u need to get ur brakes checked it makes a squeaking nose quite a lot
They've been squeaking since I got them changed. Hopefully my next ones are quieter.
I use neutral as my pivot to get into whatever gear I need. Shift to neutral adjust palm accordingly to the gear I want. Two consistent steps every time

I always wanted to know if this is possible in all cars for example m going at 5th gear 100 km/h and suddenly i wanna turn soon do i keep lowering my speed to 20 km/h and change gear to 2th gear without any problems? That's possible? Cuz this is the only part i was wondering about cars m used to go gears up in order or down in order for example everytime m down shifting from 5th i go like 5 4 3 2 etc... If i can go from 5 to 2 just by getting right speed would make my life easier 😢
Yes it's possible. Beside the example you gave, there will be lots of other scenarios where you may have to slow down suddenly and won't have time to go down each gear.

I saw the cyclist dismount the path, get behind a vehicle and approach. As a driver your A pillar would’ve been obscuring your view

Shows people that cyclists don't follow the rules of the road and don't give way at roundabouts, so you always need to look and be prepared for the idiots.
There is no mistakes here. The driver was aware of his situation. And saved the life of a complete sausage
